Essay Upload Information

Please upload 1 to 30 essays in Microsoft Word .docx format. Each essay should be less than 1MB in size.

You can upload multiple essays by saving them all in the same folder, and then during the upload process either:

Hold SHIFT to select a group of files, or
Hold CTRL to select multiple files one-by-one.

Your essays stay private: MarkMate is built on Microsoft's Azure OpenAI platform, which means that any data you upload is not used for training future models. For more details see Microsoft's Azure OpenAI Service privacy policy.

Rubric Upload Information

Please upload one rubric file in Microsoft Word .docx format. The rubric should be less than 1MB in size.

The rubric should break the total marks for the essay down into different criteria. The Total Mark will then be the sum of the marks for each criterion. Include as much detail as you can - this is where the teacher can really tailor the feedback that MarkMate provides.
